He’s in charge of the sacred obsidian stone knives used for ritual slaying. Like this entry, he’s short and to the point.
But we must point out that Aztec sacrificial knives were not the grim instruments of torture you might imagine. In fact they were adorned with cute little faces with wide staring eyes.
This must have been the Aztec equivalent of a dentist’s drill covered in Micky Mouse stickers. “Open wide Johnny, this won’t hurt a bit...”
