MAIT-CARREFOUR

A picture showing the legend of MAIT-CARREFOUR taken from our Caribbean mythology archives. Illustration by Chas Saunders. Read the story below or search the index for more Caribbean Gods, Caribbean Goddesses, heroes, demons and monsters!

Lord of the Crossroads.

He's the rather nasty younger brother of GHEDE. He is weakened by sunlight and strengthened by moonlight. Takes over the nightshift from LEGBA(2), and they do not get on well.

Sorry, he ignores prayers and offerings. For him dark is dark.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Mait-carrefour graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Mait-carrefour movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Mait-carrefour statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Mait-carrefour. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
