Godchecker/Countries/Saints from Catholic Mythology...
BENIGNUS-OF-DIJON: A Martyr. Some bones found in a tomb at Dijon may belong to him. He has never reclaimed them, but when you reach Sainthood there is a tendency to relinquish such things as souvenirs to be stored in relinqueries.
For a long time the bones were reverenced by devout locals, but a certain Bishop, doubting their authenticity, started demolition work.
God soon put a stop to that with a rather convincing vision and so the bishop backed down.
