MILESIUS

Irish legendary mortal

Also known as Míl Espáine, Míl Espáne

Legendary Iberian ancestor of the Irish

He was a Spanish soldier and instigator of the ‘Down With Gods’ cleanup campaign.

His nephew Ith had been killed by the Tuatha Dé Danann in a regrettable incident. This called for retaliation, so Milesius invaded Ireland and with the aid of his sons drove them all underground, from where they have been plotting as the Leprechaun Liberation Party for many centuries. With no perceivable results.

Legend tells that Milesius and his kin ended up settling down in Ireland and taking over the place. This means the Irish are actually Spanish. A bit.
