St ALPHEGE

Archbishop of Canterbury and Martyr.

After a stint as a hermit he became an Abbot at Bath Abbey, and did King Aethelred the Unready a favor or two by converting the invading Danish king Anlaf.

Held to ransom by the Danes, he refused to allow his parishioners to raise the cash claiming they were too poor. The frustrated Danes drank themselves into a frenzy and slew him.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest St Alphege graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, St Alphege movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about St Alphege statues, sculptures or carved figurines of St Alphege. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
