Giving the family pitcher to some lepers, he realized he could be in trouble at home, so he prayed for help. Lo and behold! A new brass pitcher appeared from nowhere.
He went to Rome on the orders of an Angel and became a pupil of St GERMANUS-OF-AUXERRE. Amongst other notable events he ensured a safe sea trip by vanquishing a sea monster, and on a trip to Cornwall tamed a whole pack of wolves.
Eventually he founded an Abbey in Brittany on the spot where today the City of Saint-Brieuc stands. This was also his final resting place.
