Nurse, mystic ad long-suffering wife
Married to a rake who preferred a mistress, she decided she would get more love from above if she helped the sick and had visions.Between hospital visits and writing about her visions on purgatory with dialogues between the soul and body, she gained attention.
Her husband, now having gambled all his money away and not being too well, was nursed back to health and dragged by his bootstraps to help in the hospital she was running. She didn't trust him though, and did all the book-keeping herself and it was never a penny out.
After his death she even provided for the mistress and several illegitimate children.
