Bishop sent to Milan for a free council which was more of a free-for-all.
He produced the Nicene Creed, a treaty for all to sign — presumably to make them nicer. It didn’t work and he was banished and ill-treated by Arians.
On release he took a slow journey home as he contemplated away... to live in peace and relative sanity.
