St FELIX-IV

Christian Saint

Three Felixes got to be Popes and Saints. The ones who missed out must be really miffed.

This particular Felix ended a controversy of some sort rather than causing one. In fact he put paid to the awful doctrine of Semi-Pelagianism, for which we are forever grateful as it’s an ugly-sounding thing.

Cum tam multi salvi non fiant, non quia ipsi, sed quia Deus non vult, obviously.
