St FULBERT-OF-CHARTRES

'The very little bishop of a very Great Church' is how he liked to describe himself.

Very strong on education, his cathedral school became the greatest learning center in France.

He also re-built the cathedral when it burnt down in 1020. His output also included 140 epistles and 27 hymns.
