St LAWRENCE-GUSTINIANI

Christian Saint

Patriarch of Venice.

At 19 he had a dream of Eternal Wisdom in the form of a woman. She told him how to seek and find everlasting peace.

So he became a monk, dressed in rags and didn’t say very much at all ever again. This got him promoted to Bishop.

Mysterious ways indeed.
