St MARK-II

Christian Saint

Also known as MARCUS

Mark The Second. Known in more trendy circles as Mk II

He was Pope for less than a year in 336. He may have given the Bishop of Ostia the right to consecrate new Popes, which would have been just as well.

He’s not be confused with St MARK the Evangelist. Or indeed any other Mark.
