The Blessed Holy Virgin Mother Mary
She is the magnificent holy mom of JESUS, as featured in the Bible and the blessed hymns of St Paul McCartney.
She is the miraculous virgin mother who gave birth to Our Savior with no naked naughtiness involved whatsoever. According to the New Testament, she also gave birth rather more conventionally to JESUS's brothers and sisters. This little fact is often glossed over by Christian denominations who feel all marketing slogans should adhere to their Holy Mother Of God branding guidelines.Mary did not officially become the 'Mother of God' until 431 when a council in a church at Ephesus, which claimed to possess her holy remains, decreed it so. And so it was so. In the Catholic Church she practically became the fourth member of the Holy Trinity.
By rights we feel she should be the Patron of Virgin Births and Nativity Plays. We're not sure how her parents ANNE and JOACHIM felt about all this publicity. They rarely get a mention as Blessed Holy Grandparents of God.
As for JESUS's brothers and sisters, the likelihood is that they grew up, got married and had offspring. Just imagine — samples of St MARY's Holy DNA could well be running around in the present day.
