St PANTALEON

Christian Saint

Physician to the Emperor Galerius Maximianus.

When it was discovered that he was also prescribing Christianity to all and sundry, it came to the attention of Diocletian.

Consequently the doc was struck off the medical register. He was also beheaded so that he was no longer able to practice what he preached.
