God of Woodlands, Fields and Boundaries

It’s the sort of name used for big posh country houses. ‘Welcome to Selvans’. Followed by all the ‘Trespassers will be prosecuted, Guard dog and Surveillance cameras installed’ notices.

When the Romans came along he appears to have become Silvanus.
