EPIMETHEUS

Dumb God of Creature Creation.

The son of IAPETUS and CLYMENE, he populated the world with newly invented animals, but made such a big deal about it that his brother PROMETHEUS became jealous. This lead to the theft of fire and a whole lot of trouble for the Gods.

They got their own back by offering EPIMETHEUS the first prototype woman, and, despite the warnings of PROMETHEUS, he was silly enough to accept. Her name was PANDORA.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Epimetheus graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Epimetheus movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Epimetheus statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Epimetheus. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
