AMITABHA

Buddha in Western Paradise mode

This is BUDDHA when he is being God in his Western Paradise. There he sits on a lotus flower throne and welcomes visitors, especially if they have come to repent their sins.

AVALOKITESVARA attends him, and if you are Chinese you can call him Emituofo, and her GUAN-YIN or one of the variations. Known in Tibet as AMITAYUS.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Amitabha graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Amitabha movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Amitabha statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Amitabha. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
