ANJANA

Indian Spirit

Female Monkey Spirit and mom of Hanuman

She must have been a very comely monkey, as she was also one of the APSARAS where grace and beauty are priorities.

In some way she became mysteriously pregnant. Some say SHIVA was involved, others say VAYU. And her son was the monkey of all monkeys — HANUMAN.
