KAMSA
Also known as KANSA

Nasty tyrannical Demon King and [KRISHNA]'s uncle.

He was quite happy ruling ruthlessly, until one day he received some bad news from Heaven. A mysterious voice informed him that his half-sister DEVAKI would shortly give birth to a demon-destroying hero and now might be a good time to reconsider his life insurance policy.

KAMSA was furious and hit on the amazingly original plan of killing all his nephews. But baby KRISHNA escaped and you can guess the rest.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Kamsa graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Kamsa movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Kamsa statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Kamsa. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
