KUMBHAKARNA

Known as 'Pot Ears' or should it be Pot Belly as he was one greedy guzzling demon.

He was also very dozy. Given a chance of eternal life he became tongue tied (with a little help from BRAHMA) and asked for eternal sleep. Only hunger woke him up. 5,000 women, 6,000 cows and 2,000 jars of wine was just brunch to him.

Unfortunately he was one of RAVANA's brothers, and became involved in the conflict with RAMA where he got the chop at the hands of SUGRIVA. Rest in pieces.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Kumbhakarna graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Kumbhakarna movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Kumbhakarna statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Kumbhakarna. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
