MANASA

A picture showing the legend of MANASA taken from our Indian mythology archives. Illustration by Chas Saunders. Read the story below or search the index for more Indian Gods, Indian Goddesses, heroes, demons and monsters!

Sexy Hindu Snake Goddess

She leads a sleazy fertility cult of snake worship. It must be love at first bite.

During her festival, basketfuls of the wriggling love creatures are tamed by smoochy flute music, rising from their basket and swaying hypnotically to the tune. Then they do magical feats while their devotees slip into a sexy trance.

It's all to do with that mystic snake energy which coils around the universe. She's possibly the Goddess of Copper Wire too.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Manasa graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Manasa movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Manasa statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Manasa. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
