PARASHURAMA

Hindu Hero God

A famous indefatigable warrior of old

He fought an evil king who had 1,000 arms, all fully armed, and managed to chop him to bits. Then he fought 21 campaigns against the king’s 21 sons, each of which had 1,000 arms and armies that killed anything killable and had done rather a lot of damage.

Even allowing for exaggeration you would think Parashurama had powers beyond normal human reckoning. And you would be right — he had the axe of Shiva and was actually an Avatar of Vishnu himself.
