He fought an evil king who had 1,000 arms, all fully armed, and managed to chop him to bits. Then he fought 21 campaigns against the king’s 21 sons, each of which had 1,000 arms and armies that killed anything killable and had done rather a lot of damage.
Even allowing for exaggeration it stands to reason PARASHURAMA was receiving quite a lot of outside help and immortality. Yes — he had the axe of SHIVA and was possibly an avatar of SHIVA himself.
That sounds most likely as it has all the hallmarks of SHIVA’s ‘sock it to ‘em’ approach.
