VIŚVAKARMAN

Hindu Creator God

Also known as Vishvakarma, Vishvakarman, Viśvakarma, Visvakarman

Creator God of Gadgets and Technology

The Great Architect, he sharpens the rays of the sun, fixes chariots, builds bridges, dabbles in architecture — and is easily confused with Tvashtri the Creator God.

Is it an illegible signature — Tvashvish? or Vishavaskartri? Was he a schizophrenic? Is Shakespeare really Francis Bacon? Will the real Robin Hood stand up? Which one is Jekyll and who is Hyde? Well, one of them drank Soma.

Among other things, Viśvakarman is reputed to have designed and built the Pushpaka VIMANA — a magnificent flying chariot.
