This is the Shinto legendarium, if not Bible, of myths written in 712 AD.

It is probably the oldest Japanese work known and tells the story of how the Gods created all things — including Japanese mythology. It starts with Izanagi and Izanami in a gripping tale of Chaos and Creation.
