He brought the gift of fire to the people and the people were delighted with it. So delighted that they were willing to offer any amount of sacrifices to keep it.
Tohil does like his sacrifices. If blood was tomato sauce, he would be the Ketchup King. Some kind of early Mesoamerican barbecue ritual is clearly indicated.
