Canaanite Death God

God of Death

When Baal paid him a visit he was humiliated and forced to eat mud and do ridiculous things to himself and then die. Anath, the wife of Baal was not having any of this. She stormed down to Mot and demanded a full restoration. Mot replied ‘Over My Dead Body!’

So she cut him into small pieces and then ground him into powder, which she sprinkled over Baal and he was back in business again.
