COPPER WOMAN

Haida Ancestral Goddess

Also known as Xaalajaat

Underwater Copper Goddess

So, you are the only human being. You live by fishing and it is very lonely. When you cry your nose starts to run. Then you blow it into a crab shell and the next day there is a sort of snotball which slowly metamorphosizes into a Crabman.

What happens next? Nothing. They just live happily ever after. No populating the world. No crablets. How selfish can you get in the world of shellfish?

So why is she called Copper Woman? Because she and her husband run the underwater smelting industry.
