MUSPELL

Norse legendary place

Also known as MUSPELHEIM, MUSPELHEIMR, MUSPELLSHEIMR

The land of primordial fire

This is an awful no-man’s-land of fire and desolation, the southern-most fiery pinnacle of the NINE-WORLDS. It seems to exist out on a limb of YGGDRASIL the Cosmic Tree. Which is no bad thing — just think of the health and safety implications of all those naked flames.

It’s the exact opposite and ancient counterpart of ice-ridden NIFLHEIM back in the days when the two realms were separated by the void of GINNUNGAGAP and Norse mythology was just a twinkle in YMIR’s frosty eye.

MUSPELL is ruled by SURT the Fire Giant but there are no burning questions he feels inclined to answer at present.
