LOSNA

Etruscan Moon Goddess 🌝

Goddess of Probably Not Being A Moon Goddess

Losna is sometimes mentioned as an Etruscan Moon Goddess but she almost certainly isn’t.

For a start, there is already an Etruscan Moon Goddess called Tivr and more than one would cause mighty complications. Also, her name is not very Etruscan and the only historical references to her are highly dubious.

However, the Etruscan pantheon is so fiendishly obscure that you never know what deities might have been moonlighting under assumed names. Perhaps nowadays she could be the Goddess of Fake Moon Landing Conspiracies.
