The copyright in all text and images on this site belongs to us. A great deal of original research has gone into making Godchecker factually correct and mythologically interesting. Many sites copy material verbatim from other websites. WE DON'T. We write every single word of Godchecker ourselves.

We are not a huge faceless corporation, but to protect our artistic rights we have to make the following statement:

Of course, the myths of humanity are in the public domain. Everyone owns the legend of Pandora and you can't copyright Quetzalcoatl. The Gods were here before us - and will be here long after we've gone. So feel free to draw your own picture of Pandora or write your own version of the Quetzalcoatl legend. You just can't use ours without permission. Okay?

Reproduction requests.

Copyright notwithstanding, you're welcome to use bits of our material for your own non-commercial projects provided you give us credit. This is very important! Citations must include a link to http://www.godchecker.com.

Students: You may use small extracts from Godchecker in your essay, project or report. No need to ask permission, but you must include a statement such as: Information provided by www.godchecker.com.

Authors, journalists, scriptwriters: Again, you are welcome to use short extracts from Godchecker, provided you give us a mention in the credits. Feel free to quote us, but please drop us a line to tell us about it. We may also be able to supply more info or better quotes if you contact us!
