We thrive on visitor feedback. If something is wrong, we want to know about it. Many people have pointed out mistakes or suggested improvements - and Godchecker has become a much better site as a result. So don't just sit there, talk to us!

Reporting a mistake

We work very hard to get our facts straight. All info is checked and double-checked. If the facts are in doubt, we try to make plausible speculations. Our aim is to amuse and enlighten. But we're not infalliable. sometimes we get our wires crossed - and of course there's no escaping the occasional silly mistake.

So if you find an error, contact us here. We'll need to know:

1) What the mistake is
2) What page it's on (pasting the URL would be handy)
3) Any references you think we should consult

We'll double-check and make any necessary corrections asap.

Making a complaint

We aim to entertain and educate. We don't want to offend anyone. But feelings can run high where belief is involved. If you feel we've misrepresented a deity, we'd like to hear about it.

IMPORTANT: We have the deepest respect for all Gods and all beliefs. Godchecker is written in a humorous style but we do not aim to mock or belittle. On the contrary, we are probably the only mythology encyclopedia that treats the Gods as living entities - not primitive old fables which no modern person could possibly take seriously.

However, like many commentators down the ages, we have no hesitation in asking pertinent questions. Our source materials often conflict and we have to make educated guesses. Sometimes we make humorous speculations - but no disrespect is ever intended. On the contrary, we believe polytheism is rich in natural humor. There are many Gods of Mirth and Laughter...

So if you feel the need to complain, please be specific. Tell us what is wrong, and how we can change it for the better. If you have specialised knowledge of the subject which would help us, please share it. Links to relevant websites will also help to prove your point.
