African Creator God/dess

Remote but supreme Zimbabwe Creator God

He’s distant and invisible, but still cares in a vague philosophical kind of way.

MWARI is usually referred to as male, but can just as easily be female. ‘He Who Lives In The Sky’ can do what he likes, and what goes on up there is none of our business.

But despite being unknown and unknowable, MWARI rules over all things, sends fertile rain, and has everyone’s best interests at heart. He even takes a hand in social issues and politics now and again. So if you can’t vote, pray.

He may also be the Makoni God MAORI, who had a lot of trouble with the first human. This might explain why he chose to retreat into the infinite, leaving only a forwarding address for the chosen few.

The best way to liaise with MWARI is to find the cave where his Official Oracle lives. She is usually female, is well-versed in spiritual matters, and is happy to pass on all messages.
