Warning: this entry is full of sex and drugs. But no rock’n’roll. Ninepone is a deity of the infamous Bwiti religion. This cult involves a great deal of ceremonial psychedelic drug-taking, so take nothing for granted — it could all be a massive hallucination.

She was born from Mebeghe’s Cosmic Egg, along with her younger brother None and their somewhat evil half-brother Evus. She was entrusted with the guardianship of the night and the sanctity of the female spirit. She took her role so seriously that she remained a virgin right up until the first time she had sex.

Unfortunately, her first sexual encounter was with her surreal sibling Evus. He must have whispered sweet perverted nothings in her ear. She then made the leap from half-brother to full-brother and took None into her bed.

All these shenanigans made Mebeghe very cross. As a punishment, Ninepone was forced to carry the world around upon her head like a moody teenager version of Atlas. There’s not many sexual liaisons you can get up to in that position.
