OBASSI NSI

Ekoi God

Creator God who lives upon the Earth

He is the brother of Creator God Obassi Osaw. Together they formed a wonderful deity double act, creating the Earth and everything in it.

But one day they decided to split up, citing creative differences. Obassi Osaw ascended to the Sky while Obassi Nsi chose to live upon the Earth and focus on growing palm trees.

This arrangement suited the Ekoi people very well — all the benefits of a heavenly God watching over them, with another one living next door for instant agricultural blessings.
