OBASSI-NSI

African God

Creator God who lives upon the Earth

He is the brother of Creator God OBASSI-OSAW. Together they formed a wonderful deity double act, creating the Earth and everything in it.

But one day they decided to split up, citing creative differences. OBASSI-OSAW ascended to the Sky while OBASSI-NSI chose to live upon the Earth and focus on growing palm trees.

This arrangement suited the Ekoi people very well — all the benefits of a heavenly God watching over them, with another one living next door for instant agricultural blessings.
