TSETSE BUMBA

Bushongo/Kuba Lightning Spirit 🌩️

A pest who plays with fire

She was one of Bumba’s four children, but turned out to be such dreadful pyromaniac that she was banished to the sky.

She is a black leopard creature who can move at lightning speed. And despite Bumba’s warnings, she just couldn’t resist zooming around setting fire to things. No-one could stop her so her dad finally found her an empty apartment in the sky to live in. She then became the Goddess of Lightning, but as a last pernicious act she took fire with her. A case of handling stolen goods with asbestos gloves.

Now she has to be given permission to send it down to Earth now and then for replenishment. This is always a mixed blessing as she can’t resist setting fire to things just for the hell of it.
