Sea God with some odd connections to Leicester, UK
Sea Dad of Manannán mac Lir the Sea God.
His name may have been used by Shakespeare as the basis for King Lear. He may also be the God of Leicester, which seems a bit out of the way.
Apart from this he had four kids who were turned into swans for 900 years by a wicked stepmother. They didn’t get to live in Swan Lake, but somewhere very Northerly and Nasty and only just survived the ordeal and were in very poor shape when returned to human form.
