St ANSANUS

Christian Saint

Also known as ANSANUS-THE-BAPTIZER

A young nobleman from Siena, he was preaching Christianity from the age of 19.

But not for long as the Emperor Diocletian was rather against this sort of thing. The prospective Saint did not survive whipping, being thrown in a pot of boiling oil and beheading.
