St BENIGNUS-OF-ARMAGH
Also known as BENEN-OF-ARMAGH

Follower of St [PATRICK] and eventual Archbishop.

As a child he stowed away in St Paddy's chariot, and when discovered used his talents as a psalm singer to persuade his hero to employ him.

Eventually he came to rule the monastery at Drumlease, and in time replaced his hero at Armagh.
