Pope in busy times with the Frankish Empire reformations.

Apart from all that he embarked on a major mission to beautify the churches — which strangely enough often included images of himself.

But what with one thing and another, he was not very popular with the common folk, and when he died he had to take the tradesmen’s entrance to burial.
