AMATHAOUNTA

Egyptian Sea Goddess

Also known as Amathaon, Amathaunta

An Aegean Sea Goddess of whom we know little

She is an ancient goddess of the Aegean Sea which touches several countries. Consequently she has dipped her toes in several cultures of the region, including Egyptian, Middle-Eastern and Grecian.

She may have originated as a Samarian Goddess named ASHMIA and founded tribes in Palestine and Syria but so far we have not come across further details.

She may sell seashells by the seashore or build sandcastles, but this is just wild speculation. She could be engaged in some off-shore project. Who can say?
