AMENT
Also known as AMENTET, AMENTIT

Goddess of Hospitality at the Underworld reception desk

The daughter of HORUS and HATHOR, she is the meet-and-greet deity who welcomes deceased spirits at the gates of the Underworld.

You might expect her to be sitting at a desk when you arrive. But no. She perches in a tree and watches out for her husband AKEN bringing new recruits.

When you arrive at the Underworld she offers you bread and water. With her regal demeanour you'd expect something a bit more refined. Like a nice cup of tea.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Ament graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Ament movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Ament statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Ament. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
