God of Medicine and Knowledge

A mere mortal, he was the chief architect of the Step Pyramid — the very first one. He also excelled in healing, medicine, magic and raising the dead.

He was so damn clever and in such demand he could not be allowed to remain mortal, so Godly status was bestowed upon him. As he might have said ‘A journey towards divine ascension starts with the very first step.’

The Greeks identified him with Dr Asclepius.
