MAFDET
Also known as MAFTET

Mongoose Goddess of Protection, particularly against snakes and other venomous critters.

We assume her form is that of the African mongoose or ichneuman, although she could be a civet or an ocelot according to some naturalists. As nothing zaps snakes like a mongoose, we feel this would be the best beast on offer.

MAFDET also does a shift of meting out punishment to wrongdoers in the afterlife.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Mafdet graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Mafdet movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Mafdet statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Mafdet. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
