JUKSAKKA

Finnish Midwifery Goddess

Also known as JUKS-AKKA

Goddess of Midwifery and Birth

An assistant of MADDERAKKA.

The old Finland folk knew more than you might think about birth and reproduction. As all modern schoolchildren know, the sex of a baby is not predetermined. All babies start off in the womb as female.

And as it happens, during birth JUKSAKKA is on hand to alter the baby’s gender as she sees fit.
