Finnish Sky God

Also known as JUBMEL

Supremo Sky God

Is as shapeless and abstract as the sky itself.

JUMALA is so abstract that he barely exists at all. The name is the old Finnish word for ‘God’ — and this could be applied to any deity who fancied a boost. Particularly UKKO.

Over time, the word JUMALA came to be identified with the Christian God JEHOVAH, who more-or-less took over the position of Top Finnish Deity.
