FRIGE

Germanic Daytime Goddess

Also known as Frig, Fri

Goddess Friday

She is the presumed Anglo-Saxon forerunner of Norse FRIGG. Because she was best friends with VENUS, the Saxons decided to borrow Venus’s day and turn it into FRIGE’s day. So thank FRIGE it’s Friday.

GodNote: Sorry this Frige article is a bit short. We have sent our Data Dwarves off to find more nuggets of information. Stay tuned.
