She’s the daughter of PAN and ECHO, who did nothing towards her upbringing or education.

She had to find work as a skivvy in the palace of King Celeus. Here she met DEMETER in her woeful wandering mode, made her laugh and became her best mate, the only one she can have a giggle with.
