Flying Doctor Gods of Chariot Racing
These are the twin sons of (a) Vivasvan and Saranyu, (b) Agni’s tears, or (c) White Horse Sea Foam. Take your pick.
Whatever, they are ‘Horse Lords’ and zoom across the sky in a golden chariot powered by winged horses. They also do healing, so may be running an ambulance service up there. They stand in at mortuaries guarding the Gates of Death, which hopefully is not a drive-through.
The ASHVINS Sun Chariot Service has now become a franchise, with their Baltic branch Ašvieniai doing a roaring trade. The Ashvins have also been confused with the Ribhus who also run a chariot concession.
