HIRANYÂKSHA

Hindu Demon

World-drowning demon foiled by boar

This is another Vishnu vs Demon situation with exactly the same immunity clause as Hiranyakashipu.

The news obviously hadn’t got around about the clawback clause. This time Vishnu changed himself into a boar, just in time to stop the demon from dragging the whole world into the primordial ocean.

Tsk tsk and tusk tusk — another defunct demon.
