MUCHALINDA

Indian fabulous creature

King of the NAGAS.

This is the giant Cobra that protected BUDDHA and made himself useful as an umbrella as his master sat meditating under the Bho tree (Wild fig for those of you that give a fig for such details).

Naturally MUCHALINDA was a Hooded Cobra.
